2007 make no mistake was a rough year for real estate, October through December have been the slowest months I have every experienced. It doesn’t matter whether you were activity participating in the real estate market or not it effected us all.
That’s the past, it’s real, it’s happened now lets move forward. With a new year brings new hope and a fresh set of cards, in Central Florida we have over 12 months of inventory to sell and in 07 sellers learned by hard knocks that the competition is fierce, buyers also learned homeowners are not giving homes away.
With the spring market right around the corner we are seeing new listings and some of these are great deals (in the real estate business our spring starts in February this is when buyers start kicking the tires and these same buyers are the pending sales in March and April. Whether you are looking at pre foreclosures, short sales or a home that is priced RIGHT, yes a home can be priced right in this market, make sure you are working with a local Realtor with experience to help you understand what is and what is not a great deal.
